Willard Christopher Smith Jr. O Willard “Carroll” Smith Jr., mejor conocido por su nombre artístico Will Smith, nació el 25 de septiembre del año 1968 en la ciudad de Filadelfia, del estado de Pensilvania, Estados Unidos.  Es un reconocido comediante, compositor, productor ejecutivo, actor y cantante de rap, destacando principalmente en estas dos últimas. Posee el mérito de ser el único actor hasta el

momento en participar de manera consecutiva en una línea  de ocho películas que generaron más de cien millones de      dólares en ingresos nacionales de taquilla y encabezado los primeros puestos luego de ser estrenadas.
